The petitioner is the mother of a major girl, who eloped with her lover and got married. Alleging that her daughter was missing, this habeas corpus petition is filed.
2. The respondent police has secured the girl and the boy, whom she has married. On interaction with the girl and boy, this Court finds that they were in love and since their parents opposed their marriage, they have eloped and got married and now, they are living at Tirupur peacefully. It appears that the petitioner is not willing to give consent for their marriage in view of the caste. Since the girl is a major and is educationally qualified and knowledgeable, she has taken her decision on her own without any compulsion. Hence, this habeas corpus petition stands dismissed.
