ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 406, 420 and 506(1) of IPC, in Crime No.182 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner has not been named in the FIR, but however, he apprehends the arrest and therefore, the present anticipatory bail petition has been filed before this Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that as on today, there are no materials against the petitioner and therefore, the petitioner has not been made as an accused in the FIR. The learned counsel further submitted that if in the course of investigation, the involvement of the petitioner comes to surface, the petitioner will be added as an accused.

4. Considering the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, there is no apprehension of arrest for the petitioner since there are no materials available as against him and the petitioner has not been made as an accused in this case. As and when the petitioner is made as an accused and the petitioner apprehends arrest, it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law.
