ORDER

By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.

One Murugan has obtained fraudulent death certificate as if the petitioner's father passed away on 08.12.2012 when actually the petitioner's father died on 25.08.1978. In this regard, the petitioner had made a complaint, on the basis of which, an enquiry was initiated for appropriate action against the erring official. The petitioner has already appeared for enquiry on 23.11.2023 at 04.00 p.m., before the 2nd respondent in his office. However, the said enquiry is kept pending endlessly without conclusion for the past more than one year. Hence, this writ petition came to be filed condemning the callousness attitude of the 2nd respondent in concluding the enquiry initiated as early as in the year 2023.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and carefully perused the entire materials available on record. 2/4

Considering the abovesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court hereby direct the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry in Na.Ka.No.B5/11404/2023 dated 18.11.2023 as expeditiously as possible, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
