ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 5, to remove the obstruction made by the 9th respondent in the Arani Canal constructed under Field Bothies Act 1959, in Survey Number 448/A2 and restore the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.11.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
