2. With the consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner's Principal purchased the property in Survey No. 2786/2 of Melagudalur North Village, Kambum Sub-Registration Office, Theni District, measuring an extent of 60 cents, under the registered Sale Deed dated 24.02.2010. After the purchase, the petitioner applied online for the subdivision of patta to the fourth respondent on 13.05.2024. However, the fourth respondent did not respond. Subsequently, the petitioner came to know that the patta had been wrongly issued in favour of the fifth to tenth respondents. The petitioner, therefore, filed an appeal on 12.11.2024, to the second respondent against the order passed by the fourth respondent on 16.09.2013. As the second respondent did not consider the appeal, the petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking the aforesaid relief.
4. Considering the fact that the second respondent for no reasonable reasons is keeping the petitioner's appeal dated 12.11.2024 pending, a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Page No. 3 of 5
appeal within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
