ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take action upon the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2024

2. The petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent, thereafter no action has been taken. Hence the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner the petitioner was summoned and called for enquiry and the petitioner appeared before the respondent. It was found that the cause of action arose within the jurisdiction of Ayyapuram Police Station, Tenkasi District and not within the jurisdiction of Kalugumalai Police Station. Hence the petitioner was directed to approach the Ayyapuram Police Station on 30.07.2024.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the 2/5

Ayyapuram Police Station and would produce documents along with copy of the complaint.

5. In view of the same, the second respondent police is directed to transfer the entire papers in connection with the petitioner's complaint to the Ayyapuram Police Station forthwith conduct the enquiry and close the same within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
