ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sengottai to expedite the trial and dispose the case in C.C No.299 of 2023, within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complainant in this case and based on her complaint, a case in Crime No.136 of 2021 has been registered for the offences under Section 406, 420 and 120 B of IPC. Thereafter, the respondent police has filed the final report and the same was taken on file by the Trial Court in C.C.No.299 of 2023 without any progress for the past two years. Therefore, she has filed this petition for speedy disposal of the case.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that F.I.R was registered in the year 2021 and cognizance was taken in the year 2023 and now the case is posted for service of summon to the accused. However, they will cooperate for the speedy disposal of the case and they will produce the witnesses as directed by the Trial Court.
4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to dispose the case within the time and the case is pending from the year 2021, this Court is inclined to direct the Trial Court to dispose the case as early as possible. Accordingly, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sengottai is directed to dispose the case in C.C.No.299 of 2023 as early as possible, without giving 2/4
any long adjournments beyond fifteen days.
5. With the above said direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
