PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records of all proceedings in pursuant to the impugned summons in Na.Ka.No.G5/2233765/2024 dated 23.09.2024 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same. ORDER

Upon receipt of summon dated 23.09.2024 from the District Revenue Officer, Madurai the petitioner challenged the summon and prayed for interim stay of such proceedings. Subsequently, by order dated 31.07.2025, the District Revenue Officer issued an order declining to exercise jurisdiction and directing the parties to approach the jurisdictional civil Court. In view thereof, this writ petition has been rendered infructous and is dismissed on that account without any order as to costs. It is, however, open to the second respondent to challenge the order of the District Revenue Officer in accordance with law. No costs.
