ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) The present petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of petitioner's daughter namely, Vasantharadha, D/o. Rajakirubakaran, aged about 17 years, before this Court and hand over her custody to the petitioner. 2.

The detenue, who is a minor girl, went missing on 01.12.2024. On the complaint of the petitioner, an FIR was registered under 'Girl missing' in Crime No.907 of 2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent/Police on 01.12.2024 and till now, the detenue is not secured.

However, Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents/Police, on instructions, submitted that the respondents/Police have traced out the location and whereabouts of the detenue and as per the location details, the detenue is now in Kerala. He further submitted that the respondents/Police will secure the detenue within a period of two weeks and produce her before the concerned Court.

Since the detenue is a minor girl, aged about 17 years, the respondents/Police are directed to secure the detenue and produce her before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period two weeks from today.
