ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 133, 115(2) and 351(3) of BNS, in 1/3

Crime No.260 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the offences alleged to have been committed by the petitioner are bailable in nature and therefore, grant of anticipatory bail does not arise.

3. Taking into consideration the above submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
