According to the petitioner, he is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.988/2014 of Changaramkulam Police Station, Malappuram district, registered for the offences punishable under Section 379 IPC and Sections 20 and 23 of the Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001. 3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that no crime has been registered against the petitioner so far and he has not been arraigned as an accused in the crime.
BA.35/2015 : 2 :
Therefore, there is no reason to have a reasonable apprehension of arrest in this case as far as the petitioner is concerned.
