Petition filed under Section 439(1) Cr.P.C.
2. Petitioner is the 2nd accused in Crime No.677 of 2014 of Areacode Police Station registered for the offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 341, 324 and 308 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. The allegation is that due to political rivalry, he stabbed the victim with a knife.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been in custody since 28.12.2014 and his further detention is not necessary for completion of the investigation.
5. Heard both sides.
6. The learned Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is involved in several other cases.

B.A. No. 143 of 2015 committed assumes significance. The weapon used is knife. The attack was on the head. The allegation is very serious. It is not at all proper to release him on bail at this stage.
In the result, the application is dismissed.
