Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C.
The petitioner is the first accused in crime No.1635/2014 of Keezhvaipur Police Station, which has been registered for the offences under Sections 420, 506(1) r/w. 34 IPC and under Sections 3 & 17 of Money Lenders Act and under Section 9(a) of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act.

It is submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 28.12.2014 and having regard to the nature of the allegation his further detention is not necessary and he may be released on bail.

The petitioner is a document writer. He has been in custody since 28.12.2014. It appears that his further detention is not necessary for completion of the investigation.
B.A. No.144 of 2015 -2In the result, this Bail Application is allowed with the following conditions:
1) The petitioner will be released on bail on his executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned.
2) He shall appear before the Investigating Officer between 10.30 a.m. and 11 30. a.m. on every 1st and 3rd Fridays for 4 months; or till the final report is filed, whichever is earlier.
3) He shall not intimidate or attempt to influence the witnesses.
If he violates any of the conditions, the learned Magistrate is empowered to cancel the bail in accordance with the law.
