O R D E R

Petition filed under Section 439(1) Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.1028 of 2014 of Mananthavadi Police Station registered for the offence under Section 393 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. She is alleged to have committed robbery of a gold chain in the course of a journey. It is submitted that the petitioner is a woman and she has been in custody since 30.11.2014 and she may be released on bail.

3. Learned Public Prosecutor submits that the final report has already been filed. The petitioner hails from Tamil Nadu. The modus operandi compels me to believe that it is not safe to release her on bail as it will be very difficult to ensure her presence during the trial.

4. Learned counsel submits that the matter has been settled between the parties. This fact itself shows that the petitioner shall not

B.A. No.147 of 2015 be released on bail. Anti social elements settle the dispute once they are apprehended. I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. In the result, the application is dismissed.
