O R D E R

Petition filed under Section 439(1) Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is the 1st accused in Crime No.1169 of 2014 of Pettah Police Station registered for the offences under Sections 323, 324 and 308 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is submitted that he has been in custody since 16.10.2014 and he may be granted bail.

4. Heard both sides.

5. Having regard to the nature of allegations and the fact that the petitioner has been in custody since 16.10.2014, I am inclined to grant him bail which will not affect the investigation. In the result, the application is allowed.

1. The petitioner shall be released on bail on his executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned.

2. He shall not intimidate or attempt to influence the witnesses.

B.A. No.157 of 2014

3. He shall not get himself involved in any other criminal case while he is on bail.

4. If the petitioner violates any of the above conditions, the court concerned is empowered to cancel the bail in accordance with the law.
