ORDER
This petition is filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C for anticipatory bail.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner apprehends arrest by Maradu Police on an accusation of having committed a non-bailable offence. Learned Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submits that neither a complaint received nor a case registered against the petitioner by Maradu Police. Therefore, the apprehension of the petitioner that he would be arrested by Maradu Police has no basis. In the light of the submissions so made by the learned Public Prosecutor, this petition does not survive.
