Petitioner is alleged to have committed the offence under Sections 465, 468, 469 & 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

He was Secretary of Kumaranasan Smaraka Society, which is a co-operative society. The prosecution case is that he made false accounts and make false entries in the registers of the society.

The allegations against the petitioner are very serious. The case diary reveals that there is a prima facie case against him. His detention may be necessary for effective investigation. It is not proper to grant him anticipatory bail.
