ORDER

Petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

2. According to the petitioner, he is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.180/2014 of Devendra Nagar police station, Raipur, Chatisgarh state, for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the I.P.C. and sections 3 and 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

3. It has come out that Chatisgarh police had reached Kozhikode, in search of the petitioner and, as they could not locate the petitioner, they have returned.

4. On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor, I am of the view that a month's time can

B.A.1499/2015 be granted to the petitioner to approach Chatisgarh High Court or the concerned court for anticipatory bail or bail. In the result, this bail application is disposed of, and the investigating officer or such other police officer, who is conducting the arrest of the petitioner within a period of 30 days from today onwards, is directed to enlarge the petitioners on bail in the event of his arrest for a period of one month only, on his executing a bond for ₹1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the officer conducting arrest.
