Petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 406, 419 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that he made a false promise that he would get a job for the defacto complainant in the office of the High Commission in Canada.

The transaction was entered into at the residence of the petitioner. There is also an allegation that the petitioner cheated another person also in a similar manner. There is a prima facie case against him. He is not entitled to get anticipatory bail.
