ORDER

Petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 465, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 12 (1) (b) of Indian Passport Act. The allegation is that he furnished false address in the application for passport and forged a caste certificate.

2. Heard.

3. The application is opposed. Having regard to the nature of the allegations, I am of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary. Granting him anticipatory bail will frustrate the investigation. In the result, this applications is dismissed. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner will surrender before the investigating officer. He may do so, if he is so advised. K. ABRAHAM MATHEW JUDGE DMR/-
