2. Petitioners are students of a college. They have allegedly committed the offences under sections 143, 147, 148, 323, 324,326, 307 and 308 read with section 149 IPC. According to the prosecution, they assaulted the victims, 13 in number, with iron rods and sticks.
3. Heard.
4. Some of the co-accused have already been granted bail by this Court. The weapons have been recovered. It appears that detention of the petitioners is not necessary for completion of the investigation.
In the result, this application is allowed.
1) The petitioners will be released on bail on their executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) each with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned.
B.A.Nos. 1843 of 2015 & 2012 of 2015 ::2::
2) They shall appear before the Investigating Officer for interrogation. If they are so required by him in writing.
3) They shall not destroy or tamper with evidence.
4) They shall not get themselves involved in any other criminal cases.
In case of violation of any of the above conditions, the learned Magistrate is empowered to cancel the bail in accordance with the law.
