O R D E R
The petitioners allegedly committed the offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 353, 332, 323, 324 read with 149 IPC.
2. The allegation is that in connection with the inauguration of a Mall at Karunagappalli, there was an untoward incident and the petitioners along with others obstructed the police from discharging their duties.
3. Heard.
4. The prosecution has no case that any of the police officers sustained any serious injuries. The custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not necessary for effective investigation.
5. In the result, this application is allowed. i) The petitioners shall be released on bail after interrogation on they executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) each with two solvent sureties each
B.A. No.2284 of 2015 for the like sum if they are arrested by the Police in connection with this case.
ii) They shall appear before the Investigating Officer between 10am and 11am on every alternate Friday for four months or till the Final Report is filed, which ever is earlier. iii) They shall not destroy or tamper with evidence. iv. In case of violation of any of the above conditions, the learned Magistrate is empowered to cancel the bail in accordance with the law.
