Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

2.

Petitioner is the 2nd accused in Crime No.VC 1/15/TVM of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Thiruvananthapuram.

3. The allegation is that, she along with the co-accused, entered into a conspiracy and pursuant to it, they made false entries in certain documents and made corrections in the relevant documents with regard to her date of birth and thus, committed the offences under Sections 13(1)(d) read with Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act and Sections 468, 471 and 120(B) of the I.P.C 4.

Heard.

B.A.2455/2015

5. The petitioner is working as a Nursing Assistant in S.A.T. Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram. The learned counsel submits that she is suffering from 50% disability as a result of an accident. The allegations against the petitioner are very serious. A detailed investigation is necessary to collect the evidence. Releasing the petitioner on bail, at this stage, will certainly affect the investigation. So, I am not inclined to grant her prayer for anticipatory bail.

6. In the result this bail application is dismissed. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the Investigating Officer. She may do so, if she is so advised.
