ORDER

Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

Petitioners who are accused 19, 22 and 20 are alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 143, 147, 148, 353 and 324 r/w Section 34 of IPC.

The accusation is that when the police tried to disperse of two warring groups in connection with the festival at a temple, the petitioners pelted stones at the police.

Heard.

Having regard to the nature of the allegations it appears that custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not necessary. In the result, this application is allowed.

i) The petitioners shall be released on bail after interrogation on their executing a bond for Rs.25,000/-(Rupees Twenty five thousand only) each with two solvent sureties each for the like sum if they are arrested by the Police in connection with this case.

ii) They shall appear before the Investigating Officer between 10.00 a.m and 11.00 a.m on every alternate Friday for four months or till the final report is filed, whichever is earlier.

B.A.No.2534 of 2015 2 Iii) They shall not destroy or tamper with evidence.
