ORDER

Petitioner is the accused in Session Case No.971/2014 on the file of 6th Additional Sessions Judge, Kollam. The allegation is that he was found to be in possession of 13.530 Kilograms of Ganja. Learned counsel submitted that the petitioner has been in custody for about nine months and he may be granted bail. 2.

Heard.

3.

The learned Public Prosecutor has brought to my notice that the petitioner is involved in six other cases where the allegation is that he has committed the very same offence. Moreover, he has already been convicted of such an offence in two cases. In these circumstances, it is not all in public interest to allow him to be free.

In the result, this application is dismissed. Learned Sessions Judge shall try to dispose of the case without delay.
