ORDER

Petition filed under Section 439(1) Cr.P.C.

Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.1137 of 2015 of Aranmula Police Station registered for the offences under Sections 454, 461 and Section 380 IPC.

The petitioner has allegedly committed theft of diamond and gold ornaments worth Rs. 4 lakhs. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 30.8.2014 and he may be granted bail.

The final report has already been filed and the trial is going on. Learned Public Prosecutor submits that the petitoner is involved in several other cases. The bail order passed by this court on 17.3.2015 discloses that he is involved in 12 other cases. It is not proper to release him on bail.
