ORDER
Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C.
2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.277 of 2015 of Kanakakunnu Police Station. He is alleged to have committed the offence of murder punishable under Section 302 IPC. The murdered is his brother. He has been in custody since 4.5.2015. Learned counsel submits that he may be granted bail as his further detention is not necessary.
3. Heard.
4. The petitioner has been in custody only for less than one month. This is a murder case. Investigation has only reached half way. It appears that if the petitioner is released on bail there is a chance of his influencing the witnesses or of his absconding. So I am not inclined to grant his prayer.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed. Sd/- K.ABRAHAM MATHEW, JUDGE cms /True copy/ P.S.to Judge
