O R D E R

Petition filed under Sec.438 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.136 of 2015 of Nedumudi Police station. She is alleged to have committed the offences under Secs.409, 468 and 420 of Indian Penal Code. She is working as a Post Mistress. The allegation is that she forged certain documents and misappropriated money to the tune of Rs.4,19,250/- which belonged to several persons.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The petitioner is aged 55 years. She is on the verge of retirement. She has already deposited Rs.4,05,000/- (wrongly shown as Rs.40,500/- ). It appears that her detention is not necessary for completion of investigation.

In the result, the bail application is allowed. 1) The petitioner shall be released on bail after interrogation on her executing a bond for

Bail Appl. No.2856 of 2015 2 Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum if she is arrested by the Police in connection with this case.

2) She shall deposit the balance amount in the trial court within one month.

3) She shall appear before the Investigating Officer for interrogation if she is so required by him in writing.

4) She shall not destroy or tamper with evidence.

5) She shall not get herself involved in any other criminal case.

In case of violation of any of the above conditions, the learned Magistrate is empowered to cancel the bail in accordance with the law.
