The petitioner has been in custody since 19.03.2015. His prayer is to release him on bail as the evidence for the prosecution has already been recorded. 3.
Heard.

A report was called for from the learned Sessions Court concerned. His report shows that the prosecution evidence was closed by the middle of December 2014. The case was posted for defence evidence to 09.01.2015. Thereafter, the court adjourned the case on several occasions at the request of the defence counsel. It means that only because of the delay caused by the accused the Sessions Judge is not able to dispose of the case. So the petitioner is not entitled to claim bail on the sole ground that there is delay in the disposal of the case. The petitioner shall cooperate with the court for an early disposal.
