2. Petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences under section 55(a) of the Abkari Act. The allegation is that he was found transporting 54 bottles of Indian made Foreign Liquor, each containing 500 ml. which was intended to be sold only in Pondicherry. There is a prima facie case against the petitioner. It is not at all proper to grant him anticipatory bail. In the result, this application is dismissed. Sd/- K.
