Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.711 of 2014 of Hosdurg Police Station, Kasaragod District. He is alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 308, 324, 341 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that he along with the co-accused assaulted the victim with an iron rod causing him serious injuries.

Heard.

The weapon used is an iron rod which has not been recovered so far. It is submitted that he is involved in two other criminal cases and is on the rowdy list.
