Petition filed under Sec.438 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner apprehends that he will be arrested by the Police on the allegation that he has committed the offence under Sec.498A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor submits that no case has been registered against the petitioner at Aluva Police station and his apprehension is without any basis.

5. There is no reason to believe that the apprehension is well founded.
