Petition filed under Sec.438 Cr.P.C.
2. The petitioner is accused in Crime No.677 of 2015 of Sakthikulangara Police station. He along with the co-accused is alleged to have committed the offences under Secs.143, 147, 148, 308, 294(b), 324, 427 and 452 read with Sec.149 of Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that the petitioner along with the co-accused entered into a beer and vine parlour and wanted to consume liquor there which was objected to by the first informant who was serving as a bar tender. Thereupon the petitioners assaulted him with iron rod and a knife causing him very serious injuries.
3. Heard both sides.
4. The victim sustained a lacerated wound on the right palm of the size 8x4 cms. This makes probable the prosecution version that he was assaulted with knife.
Bail Appl. No.3244 of 2015 2 The facts of the case do not justify granting anticipatory bail.
In the result, the bail application is dismissed. Sd/- K. ABRAHAM MATHEW JUDGE / True Copy / NS P.A. To Judge
