Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioners are accused in Crime No.1573 of 2013 of Sasthamcotta Police station registered for the offences under Secs.143, 147, 148, 307, 324 and 450 read with Sec.149 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that the petitioners along with the coaccused armed with deadly weapons like iron rods, sticks and swords assaulted the victim causing him extensive injuries and their attempt was to cause his death.

3. Heard both sides.

4. I have perused the wound certificate. The victim sustained extensive injuries. There was fracture of right tibia. There was an extensive injury on the right knee joint. All the accused were armed with weapons. The facts of the case do not justify granting anticipatory bail.

In the result, the bail application is dismissed.

B.A. No.3731 of 2015 2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners will surrender before the investigating officer. They may do so if they are so advised.
