Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is accused in Crime No.503 of 2015 of Wadakkancherry Police station registered for the offences under Secs.143, 147, 308, 323, 324, 326 and 341 read with Sec.34 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that he along with the co-accused assaulted the victim with swords causing him serious injuries.

3. Heard both sides.

4. The victim sustained extensive injuries. The nature of the injury makes probable the prosecution version that the assault was with sword. The specific allegation is that it was the petitioner who assaulted the victim with sword. This is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
