Petitioners are alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, 354, 427 read with Section 34 IPC. According to the prosecution, the petitioners along with the co-accused were found consuming liquor at a public place which was objected to by the first informant. The petitioners got enraged and assaulted the first informant and outraged the modesty of his wife.

Learned counsel submits that the allegations are false. The wound certificate shows that the first informant sustained injuries. The police was informed immediately after the incident. The history of the case has been recorded in the wound certificate. In the nature of the case, it is not proper to grant anticipatory bail.
