Petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 379 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 20 & 23(A) of the Kerala Protection of River Banks Act.

He was found transporting river sand without any permit or other authority.

The material relied on by the prosecution indicate that his involvement in the commission of the offences. The nature of the case is such that it is not in public interest to grant anticipatory bail.
