Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

Petitioner is the second accused in Crime No.835 of 2015 of Pathanapuram Police Station, Kollam District. He along with the co-accused is alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 294(b), 506(ii), 324, 341, 326 and 308 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The prosecution case is that the accused assaulted the victim with an iron rod causing fracture of his nasal bone and other injuries.

Heard.

The doctor has noted fracture of the nasal bone of the victim and other minor injuries. The defence version that he sustained injuries in a fall into a drainage system cannot be true. This is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
