Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.51 of 2015 of Kasaragod Excise Range. He is alleged to have committed the offence under Section 55(a) of Abkari Act. 3.

The prosecution case is that he was found to be in possession of 45 litres of beer and 5 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor.

The incident has been narrated in the mahazar. The allegation is that the petitioner escaped from the place of occurrence on seeing the excise officers. Prima facie he has committed the offence alleged against him. This is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
