O R D E R

Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C.

Petitioners are the accused in Crime No.356 of 2013 of Athirappilly Police Station, Thrissur District. They are said to have committed the offences under Sections 55 (g) and 58g of Abkari Act.

The allegation is that they were found to be in possession of wash used for manufacturing arrack. 4.

Heard.

The learned counsel submits that the petitioners have been in custody since 23.07.2015 and they may be granted bail. The matter is now pending before the learned Magistrate as CP.No.30/2015. The petitioners were absconding. Steps under Section 82 and 83 Cr.P.C were initiated against them. I am not satisfied that if they are released on bail they will not abscond again. So this application is only to be dismissed.
