Petitioners are accused in Crime No. 261 of 2007 of Cherpulassery Police Station. They are accused of having committed the offences under Sections 120B, 364, 395, 201 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is that while the first informant was travelling in a bus, some of the accused restrained him and abducted him and robbed him of gold bars weighing 11 Kg. This was the result of a conspiracy, to which the petitioner was a party.

The earlier application filed by the petitioner was dismissed only a few days ago as seen from Annexure-2. There has been no subsequent development. It is not proper even to entertain this application.
