Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

Petitioner is the 3rd accused in Crime No. 1658 of 2015 of Kollam East Police Station. Police seized fake degree certificates from the custody of accused 1 and 2. It is alleged that these fake certificates were supplied by the petitioner who is running some business in Bangalore. The allegation is that he along with the co-accused has committed the offences under Sections 420, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. Heard.

4. The first and the second accused were arrested by the police. Their confession statements have been recorded. It is disclosed that it is the petitioner who supplied the fake certificates. He sent them to the co-accused by courier. So there is a prima facie case against the petitioner. It is not at all proper to grant him anticipatory bail.
