Petitioner is alleged to have committed the offences under Sections 120(B),115,143,147,148,341,324,326,307 r/w 149 IPC. 3.
He is the 12th accused. The prosecution case is that he along with the co-accused assaulted the victim with intent to murder him pursuant to a conspiracy and they assaulted him with a sword causing him very serious injuries.

Petitioner is said to have informed the other accused about the movements of the victim to facilitate the assault by the co-accused. The victim sustained very serious injuries. The petitioner has been in custody since 4.7.2015. His release at this stage will adversely affect the investigation. So I am not inclined to grant his prayer.
