Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is accused in Crime No.733 of 2015 of the Venmani Police station registered for the offences under Sec.420 of the Indian Penal Code, Sec.3 and 17 of the Kerala Money Lenders Act and Secs.3 and 4 of the Kerala Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act. The prosecution case is that she is doing money lending business without any license and charges exorbitant rate of interest.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has filed a complaint against the victim on a dishonoured cheque. The cheque amount is 15 lakhs. The petitioner is a house wife. 5.In a raid conducted on the premises of the petitioner 39 incriminating documents were seized.

6. All these facts indicate that the prosecution case may be true. This is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail. In the result, the bail application is dismissed. Sd/- K. ABRAHAM MATHEW JUDGE NS
