Petitioner is the 2nd accused in Crime No. 79 of 2015 of Kottarakkara Excise Range. He is said to have committed the offence under Sections 55(i) and 67B of the Abkari Act. 3.

The prosecution case is that he was found to be in possession of 3.50 litres of Indian Made Foreign Liquor which according to the prosecution was intended for sale. 4.

Heard.

Learned Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is involved in three other similar cases. Merely because he has been in custody since 29.07.2015, he cannot be released on bail.
