O R D E R

Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is accused in Crime No.618 of 2015 of Pangode Police station registered for the offences under Secs.9(I)(m) read with Sec.10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The prosecution case is that he sexually molested the victim who is a girl aged 10 years.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has been in custody since 07.07.2015, he may be granted bail.

5. The petitioner is aged 50 years and the victim is aged 10 years. The incident happened at a Madrasa. The petitioner sexually abused the girl on several occasions. If he is released on bail at this stage, he may influence the witnesses or even intimidate them.

B.A. No.4947 of 2015 2 So I am not inclined to grant his prayer.
