Petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.
2. Petitioner is accused in Crime No.358 of 2015 of the Kuttiady Police station registered for the offences under Secs.294(b), 341 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that when an Amin of Munsiff Court, Payyoly attempted to attach a car belonging to the petitioner the latter wrongfully restrained the former, uttered obscene words and assaulted him and thus prevented him from discharging his duties as an Amin.

4. The allegations against the petitioner are very serious. He challenges the authority of the government. It is the duty of the Court to protect the employees of the government. Moreover, the learned Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is involved in eight other cases. In the result, the bail application is dismissed. Sd/- K.
