O R D E R
Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C.
2.
Petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No. 124 of 2015 of Perinthalmanna Police Station. He is involved in an offence punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs ad Psychotropic Substances Act, alleging that he had possessed 45.200 Kg. Ganja. on 19.01.2015.
3.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Public Prosecutor.
4.
Considering the quantity of the contraband involved and the fact that the petitioner is likely to flee from justice if enlarged on bail, I find no reason to grant bail to the petitioner. Therefore, this petition is dismissed. However, the trial court shall expedite the trial and try to finish the matter within a period of one year from today.
