ORDER

Accused 5 to 7 in Crime No.1712 of 2015 of Mathilakam Police Station involved in offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148 and 506(ii) read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 117(e) of the Kerala Police Act seek anticipatory bail. 2.

Prosecution case, in short, is that they were seen found in the wee hours of 31.07.2015 armed with weapons.

Heard both sides.

Considering the nature of allegations, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. They shall in two weeks surrender before the Investigating Officer and submit themselves for interrogation. Thereafter the Investigating Officer shall produce them before the learned Magistrate having jurisdiction on the same day. The petitioners are free to move for bail before the learned Magistrate. In that event, the learned Magistrate shall consider the application on merits as expeditiously as possible.

The application is disposed of.
