Petition filed under Sec.439 Cr.P.C.

2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.78 of 2015 of Chirayinkeezhu Excise Range registered for the offence under Sec.55(i) of the Kerala Abkari Act. The prosecution case is that on 05.08.2015 at 7.15 p.m., she was found engaged in retail sale of Indian Made Foreign Liquor against the provisions of the Act.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor opposing the bail application contended that the petitioner is involved in ten other crimes of similar nature.

5. The petitioner was arrested on 07.08.2015. Considering the nature of offence and the present stage of investigation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
